HELPING KEEP KEIKI FISHPOND HEALTHY

      I wanted to learn more about what makes a fishpond sustainable and how I could help. So through my project I learned that chemical levels play a major role to the overall well- being of the pond and fish. The future restoration of the Keiki fishpond is great and with the ability to compare future data to past ones there can be a better understanding of the ponds health. I hope with my project and action that more people will want to help their community. I also overall want to draw attention to the fact that Malama Loko Ea Fishpond is open to all public to visit, see, and help restore as it is the Ahupua'as fishpond.
